F1 Korean Grand Prix Betting
The Korean Grand Prix takes place at Yeongam this Sunday 24 October, and with just two more grand prix races left to go after the Korean Grand Prix, Formula 1 betting fans will be keen to take maximum advantage of the wagering opportunities that are available. Red Bull’s Mark Webber is currently at the top of the points table for the Drivers Championship on 220 points, with Fernando Alonso in second place for Ferrari on 206 points. Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) is in third place, also on 206 points. McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton and Jensen Button are in fourth and fifth place on 192 and 189 points, respectively.
As always, F1 betting enthusiasts have a number of sports betting markets to choose from for both the Korean Grand Prix itself and also for the 2010 F1 season overall. At William Hill sportsbook the market for Fastest Qualifier has Vettel installed as the 13/8 favourite, with Webber the second favourite at 11/4 and Alonso the 10/3 third favourite. Hamilton and Button are offered at 5/1 and 10/1 with all other drivers available at 25/1 or better.
The market for the Korean Grand Prix Race Winner has Vettel as the 21/10 favourite, with Alonso the 5/2 second favourite. Webber is third favourite at 7/2, and Hamilton and Button complete the leading quintet at odds of 11/2 and 12/1 respectively. Odds of 20/1 or bigger are available about the rest.
The Drivers Championship market has Webber as the 5/4 favourite, with Vettel next best at 9/4 and Alonso the 11/4 third favourite. Hamilton and Button are the only other two in the running at odds of 20/1 and 33/1.
As for the Constructors Championship, the title looks pretty much settled already, with Red Bull the red hot 1/66 favourite. Those of you who are brave enough to oppose such odds (and the current standings) can obtain odds of 10/1 about McLaren and 50/1 for Ferrari.
All of these odds will of course change before the race itself, so visit William Hill sportsbook today to take any of the current prices that appeal to you. That done, enjoy the Korean Grand Prix on Sunday and good luck in landing a winning bet or two!
